THE PROCESS: Choose a nationally or world renowned artist to focus on. Make sure you have notified Ms Hambly of our artist choice. - In a creative 2 page spread in Adobe Indesign, answer the research questions in sentences or point form. (See below) - Create a visual double page spread with the artists work. - Research the content from books (check out the class photo book library) or from the internet. - These pages should demonstrate that you understand who this artist is, what their subject matter deals with and how they create their work. - save work out as a pdf file. Load onto server in your folder

A famous photographer is one who is well known by more than a few people and has published work in books. They also have an extensive resume of exhibitions they have participated in. Do some research to find a photographer who interests you and one you would like to know more about. Just remember to document your sources!
Research: Once your photographer has been approved, use the internet and books to compile information about your photographer (questions are below).

WHAT TO DO: Part 1: - Research your artist - Create a google document and place content. - Save artist images (jpeg) from the internet in a folder on your hard drive - you need 5 examples of their work
Part 2: - Watch tutorials to understand Adobe Indesign text, applying colour and transforming graphics - Open up Adobe Indesign and Create New / letter size (8.5 inches x 11 inches) in Adobe Indesign - To add another page you need to have the dialogue box open. Go to WIndow/Pages and click on "create a new page" icon on the bottom right of the Pages dialogue box - To bring images into document: File/ place - When double page spread is completed Export it out as a pdf file. (file/export/adobe pdf print/high quality print) - file name - example: madelynhamblyWS5.pdf - submit file in google classroom - Rubric - Fill in and submit
